Rubber profiles
The extrusion of dimensionally accurate rubber profiles requires precise design of the extrusion tools as well as continuous monitoring of the material and flow behavior throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Thanks to our flexible tool planning and our broad network, we can draw on both individual tooling solutions and various machine parks and standard profiles.
This enables us to manufacture both delicate rubber profiles with the tightest dimensional tolerances for high-precision applications and large-volume profile cross-sections with widths up to 500 mm for tunnel construction, hydraulic steel construction and industrial applications.
inflatable
Profile seals
Inflatable seals, pneumatic seals, expansion seals and inflatable hollow chamber profiles are different terms for the same type of product: flexible rubber profile seals that create a dynamic seal when pressurized with compressed air.
We develop production-ready hollow chamber profiles and inflatable sleeves that are precisely tailored to the specific installation situation and technical requirements of our customers. Particular attention is paid to targeted and controlled expansion when the seal is activated.
Through the optimal design of profile geometry, material and reinforcement, we achieve high functional reliability, reliable sealing effect and maximum durability – even in demanding industrial applications.
manufactured rings and frames
Profile seals, cord seals, and frame seals are manufactured from extruded rubber profiles or cords and precisely cut to size according to the respective installation dimensions. The ends are then joined by hand or using special devices to form endless rings or frames.
Depending on the material, area of application and mechanical stress, processes such as vulcanization, welding or bonding are used to create a permanently durable and long-lasting connection.
Selecting the right connection technology often offers additional potential for cost optimization. We would be happy to advise you on the most technically and economically viable solution for your application in the long term.
