Profile technology

The technical challenges in profile technology are varied.

With our know-how, we develop functional, material and production-oriented profile cross-sections

and can draw on various manufacturing processes and materials tailored to your application in terms of quantity, dimensional requirements and function. Our rubber profiles and plastic profiles are used in window construction, commercial vehicles, steel hydraulic engineering as well as in the machinery sector.

For simple applications we recommend our customers more sustainable and 100% recyclable product alternatives for rubber profiles.

extruded
profiles

The extrusion of dimensionally accurate profiles requires the precise design of the extrusion tools and continuous control of the flow behavior. We plan the required tool in a short time or can use our network

various machine parks and standard profiles.

This enables us to offer our customers fine sealing profiles with the tightest dimensional tolerances for high-precision applications as well as large-volume profile cross-sections with a width of up to 500mm for tunnel or steel hydraulic engineering.

profile seals

Inflatable seals, pneumatic seals, expansion seals, inflatable hollow chamber profiles are synonymous with the same product. A seal that inflates with air to create a dynamic seal. We develop production-ready hollow chamber profile cross-sections or inflatable sleeves tailored to the customer's individual installation situation and designed for targeted expansion when activated in order to achieve the best possible function and durability.

Profile seals, round cord seals or frame seals are cut to length from extruded profiles or round cords according to the installation dimensions and end-to-end by hand or with auxiliary tools to form a ring or frame.

A high-quality connection through vulcanization, welding or gluing ensures thebest possible durability and often offers potential for cost savings when selected in a targeted manner. We will recommend the most economical solution for you in the long term.

Manufacture of rings and frames

Rubber profiles can be connected as rings or frames using various manufacturing techniques.

Depending on the operating conditions and the mechanical stress, profile rings or frame seals

are glued, vulcanized or welded together.

Using the same techniques, we manufacture large-format gaskets from segments,

to meet as many sealing requirements as possible.
