Prototypes
3D printing & vacuum casting
The prototype phase is a crucial step in the development of high-quality molded rubber parts. Even at this early stage of the project, we focus on an economical and production-ready design to avoid later modifications to costly production tooling.
Our goal is to develop a product that can be transferred into series production in a technically reliable and efficient manner.
Throughout the entire development phase, we are at your side as a consulting partner and support you in implementing your product idea – with short delivery times, low development costs and practical solutions for prototypes and pre-series production.
CM molded parts
Compression Moulding
In compression molding, the unvulcanized elastomer compound is placed manually or automatically into the vulcanization tool. The mold is then closed under pressure in a press. Through the application of temperature and pressure – typically around 150 °C – the material vulcanizes and takes its final shape.
After the vulcanization process, excess material residues and burrs are removed mechanically or by careful handwork.
Compression molding is particularly suitable for rubber molded parts with simple geometries and few undercuts. It offers an economical solution for numerous technical applications and small to medium production runs.
IM molded parts
Injection Moulding
Injection molding is characterized by the fact that the raw mixture is preheated in an extruder screw, precisely matched to the volume to the milligram,
is homegenized and then injected into the tempered mold.
In this way, the cycle times and thus the unit costs can be minimized. Almost any product geometry can be manufactured with this technology. However
the mold costs are significantly higher compared to compression molding.
